Program Overview
Our program consists of 8,000 On the Job Training (OJT) hours and 576 Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) or classroom hours. This takes approximately 4-5 years to complete. Our classroom instruction takes place one night per week for 4 hours from September to June.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must meet the following requirements to qualify for an interview for Apprenticeship:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Obtain an official copy of High School Transcripts or High School Equivalency with official test result
- Be physically fit to perform the duties of the trade
- Obtain minimum passing scores
- Hold a current and valid state issued driver’s license and dependable means of transportation to and from job sites in the geographical area covered by our apprenticeship standards.
- Be able to write and speak the English language
Other Requirements
Applicants selected for hire will be required to submit to the following as conditions of employment:
- Complete and pass a background check & urinalysis test at no cost to the applicant
- Submit proof of residency within 50 miles of downtown Spokane, within 60 days of selection.
